Stamos Dimitropoulos was born in 1985 and has been an editor for the past 12 years. He has edited films and documentaries that have participated in film festivals all around the world and have won noumerous awards. “Medium” (2023) premiered at Sarajevo Film Festival and “The Last Taxi Driver” (2023) won the best actor award at Thessaloniki Film Festival. “Afterlov” (2016), which is the first feature film he edited, premiered at Locarno Film Festival and “Defunct” (2019) was realeased in greek cinemas with critical acclaim. Beside fiction films Stamos Dimitropoulos has also edited documentaries, like “Antoni’s Voice” (2017), which won the best new greek director award at Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. Furthermore he has edited many short films, most notably “The Distance between Us and the Sky” (2019) which won the palme d’or for short films at Cannes. Lately he has also edited several episodes from widely released and well recieved mini series like “Forbitten Love” (2022) , ‘East Side” (2023) and “Sote” (2023-2024) for greek and israeli tv.
